Sewing Klatch

I knew it was going to be a good day. 🙂 I started the morning by making my favorite smoothie – bananas, spinach, ginger, flax, and almond milk.  Full tummy = happy tummy. 🙂 So, are you wondering what I did after that?  I joined 50+ other ladies to make bags, dresses, blankets, hats, and scarves for orphans, elderly, disabled, and homeless.  This amazing group of ladies have been meeting on Wednesdays at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa for the last 3 years and they’ve made hundreds of beautiful goodies!  If you want to be part of this special weekly gathering, join us next Wednesday at 10a.  You’ll love the girls – especially Debbie and Barbara, two of the founders!

It was so great to have your help in making such beautiful bags. You did a great job. Some child is going to be thrilled at Christmas to receive it.
It will be filled with lots of goodies along with the basics. A bar of soap, wash cloth, shampoo, school supplies. Many people take a bag home and fill it up .
The Christian Missionary pilots will deliver them starting the day after Thanksgiving.
    You helped bless several children
by helping us make these bags for
    His Glory.
