Blue Banana Smoothie

IMG_00003136Have you ever made this pretty drink?  More importantly, have you tried one? 🙂 It’s so simple that you can make it for breakfast tomorrow morning (as long as you have frozen bananas, frozen blueberries, milk, and a blender).  You can also add flax, chia, plain yogurt, or almond milk (for extra protein, which I did this morning).  I’ve seen recipes that will suggest adding honey, agave, or other sweeteners.  Don’t do it.  It’s perfectly delicious and plenty sweet without it.  I credit the husband for introducing me to the BB.  He discovered it at a smoothie shop in Santa Barbara.  🙂
