Relationships

IMG_00000425I had breakfast with a girlfriend last week at Crema Cafe in Seal Beach. Really good food and an awesome bakery! My friend is one of those people who I could easily listen to for hours/days. We met through work 10+ years ago and we stayed friends after I left my last job. As we were enjoying our yummies outside (the cafe has great outdoor seating), we talked about many things – including family relationships. Sweet tears trickled down my friend’s face as she remembered how wonderful her mother-in-law was to her and her grandchildren. She taught her how to be loving and selfless. Do you wish all your relationships were perfect? Yes, me too! Fortunately, there are great lessons to be learned from both healthy and unhealthy relationships. Repeat only the good and don’t repeat the hurt. We can do this. 🙂
